AVERE – TO HAVE
SINGULAR PLURAL
I have (io) ho we have (noi) abbiamo
you (singular) have (tu) hai you (plural) have (voi) avete
he, she has (lui, lei) ha they have (loro) hanno

ANDARE – TO GO
SINGULAR PLURAL
I go (io) vado we go (noi) andiamo
you (singular) go (tu) vai you (plural) go (voi) andate
he, she goes (lui, lei) va they go (loro) vanno

ATTENTION !!
Remember that Italian has two words for “you” – if you are a single person it’s “tu“, if you are more than one “voi“. Remember also that “it” isn’t used in the same way as in English, there is only “he” and “she”.

Examples:

I go to school. – Vado a scuola.
He goes home. – Lui va a casa.
